BOARDING

Georgia House Rabbit Society offers Boarding Services to care your rabbit (or guinea pig) while you are traveling. We have a knowledgeable staff capable of ensuring all of your bunny's needs are met during their stay. They are housed in large, spacious pens, and we also have a resident manager that is onsite overnight. Please see below for a list of our current rates. NOTE: All rabbits must be spayed/neutered and current on their annual RHDV-2 vaccination.​

We fill up quickly during holidays and school breaks, so be sure to book as EARLY as possible!

Make your reservation
If the dates you are requesting are within the next 48 hours, please fill out the boarding form first​ and then email boarding@houserabbitga.com or leave a voicemail at the Shelter to expedite your request.

AFTER FORM IS RECEIVED, WE WILL EMAIL YOU TO CONFIRM OR DENY YOUR REQUEST DEPENDING ON OUR BOARDING SPACE AVAILABLE DURING YOUR REQUESTED DATES.

Check for email
We here at the shelter take the responsibility of caring for your rabbit very seriously. We will make sure to get your bun any specialized or emergency care they need. Upon arrival at the shelter, we will ask that you complete a Boarding Contract so that you can setup guidelines for your rabbit's care in case of an emergency OR YOU CAN FILL THIS FORM OUT IN ADVANCE HERE AND WE WILL KEEP IT ON FILE FOR YOU FOR AS LONG AS YOU INDICATE ON THE FORM. You can relax knowing there will be attentive eyes on your bunny throughout their stay!

Boarding contract on file?
Sunday and after hours drop-off/pick-up times are available for an additional charge if requested ahead your boarding dates. (See boarding request form for details.)

Updated Boarding Rates begin Jan 1st, 2023
For the first time since 2018, we have reviewed and restructured our boarding rates! These changes begin January, 1st, 2023.
GHRS adopters receive 1 year of FREE membership per rabbit(s) adopted!
Become a GHRS Member for only $18 per year. This provides you with discounted boarding rates and 10% off your Hop Shop purchases!

"No Show" Fees
Beginning April 7, 2023:
-
DROP-OFFS who do not contact us in advance will be charged for that night.
-
PICK-UPS who do not contact us in advance will be charged for the night as well as an additional 50% of the night's boarding amount for the unexpected stay.
