Good News! Briar Rose’s trial bonding took!

Briar Rose is currently in a trial bonding, meaning that she is trying out a new living arrangement. Since we have to wait and see if she is happy with her new home and relationship, we do not consider her adopted. Check back for updates on Briar Rose and see if she has found herself a forever home or if she is back at the shelter and waiting for another chance!

Original Post: Meet Miss Briar Rose, a perfect lady for your companionship consideration.

Briar Rose has incredibly luxurious, long white and fawn fur, a gorgeous face and an adorable roundness. A bigger girl, her markings, her sweet face and her wonderful coat add up to equal A Spectacular Bunny.

Once Briar Rose adjusted to her new foster home, she began using her box regularly and eating almost all hay types, pellets, greens and treats she is offered, and very politely.

Briar Rose enjoys quiet afternoon naps in the shade, soothing head petting sessions, playing in box tunnels and making easy friendships with other bunnies. She has never shown a tendency to indulge in bad behavior like wall and baseboard chewing, cord crunching, etc. Her dislikes do include Sun Conure parrots, being unreasonably ignored, and orchard grass hay. Her ambitions include finding a home with a loving human or two and being paired with a suitable, kind gentlemen bunny.

Briar Rose is just lovely – we are amazed she is still available! Briar Rose is currently in foster care, please contact the Rabbit Center to set up a playdate!

If you are interested in adopting one of our available rabbits, please read about our Adoption Procedures here. Please be advised you must be at least 18 years of age to qualify. We do not adopt to college students living in dorms or to daycare facilities.
The GHRS is an all volunteer 501c3 charitable organization. We rely on the generous donations of people like you to continue our work of rescuing rabbits in need. Any assistance is greatly appreciated and helps us feed, house and supply medical care for our shelter rabbits. If you would like to make a tax deductible donation, please visit our PayPal Page. The buns will be forever grateful!
