WHAT IS HOPPY HOUR?

During Hoppy Hour, bunny parents who have paid their admission and filled out the necessary agreement, will place their bunnies in a tunnel and toy filled, dedicated carpeted space, surrounded by doting bunny parents…without any pens separating them from their future bunny friends! The amazing part of Hoppy Hour is that when multiple bunnies are put together in this environment, they tend to be more accepting of each other and just enjoy the company!

WHY SHOULD I SIGN MY BUNNY UP FOR HOPPY HOUR?

The main purpose of Hoppy Hour is FUN, but it is also a great way to teach bunnies good social skills. This is a rare opportunity for them to interact with fellow bunnies in a way they have never had the chance to before!

WHAT HAPPENS IF A BUNNY MISBEHAVES?                      

We will have “Bouncers” there to make sure the rules are followed and everyone is getting along nicely.

If any bun is seen misbehaving, the “Bouncer” will give them a 5-min “Time Out” in a separate pen until they can calm down and are ready to rejoin the others.

CAN I PET OTHER BUNNIES?

There is usually a short fenced off pen area for Hoppy Hour, but you can interact with the bunnies participating! HOWEVER, keep in mind that NO ONE other than the bunny’s mom or dad or the dedicated “Bouncers” will be allowed to pickup or handle the buns.

DO I HAVE TO STAY WITH MY BUNNY?

You’ll need to be there in case your bunny needs a break from all of the excitement.

 

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING IF MY BUNNY IS PARTICIPATING?

Please be sure to bring your bunny's carrier with you so that your bunny can be safely transported to/from/during Hoppy Hour and the rest of the event.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST AND HOW MUCH DOES HOPPY HOUR COST?

Admission is $10 per bunny (max 3 bunnies per registrant).

During BunnyFest, hours are typically from 3:30 to 5:30.  Check in starts at 3:00.

IMPORTANT RULES for BUNNY SAFETY:

            #1   Bunnies that are not fixed or have been fixed less than 30 days prior CANNOT participate.

            #2   Bunnies that have any illness CANNOT participate (for the safety of all of the buns).

            #3   ONLY the parents of the bunny and “Bouncers” will be allowed to pick up/hold the bunnies.
