Maya And Lucy Have Been Adopted!
Ironically, Maya and Lucy were highlighted in Atlanta Animal Rescue Friends newsletter this past week. We are thrilled they discussed the issue of Easter and the consequences on area shelters and rabbit welfare. We thank them for doing their part in educating the public and asking people to think twice before adopting or gifting a rabbit. The bunnies they featured, Maya and Lucy, have already found homes but we have many MANY more bunnies looking for a family to love and care for them. Original Post: Maya and Lucy are squishy pair of Holland lop bunnies. Just look at those two adorable faces!! They enjoy laying around, eating pellets, munching on greens and getting treats. They pretty much enjoy the lifestyle that all bunnies would love to do all the time. The only thing missing from the equation is a home! We know those treats would taste that much better if they came from a mommy or daddy and their naps would be that much more comfy if they were under the roof of a caring forever home. Maya and Lucy are at the shelter just waiting for a human to adopt them, care for them and tell them how pretty they are.
