Yay for Gypsy! Our lovely Gypsy has been adopted and has herself a forever home and a new best friend. Gypsy stole the hearts of everyone at the shelter and we are so very excited that she can now start living the life she so deserves. Little Gypsy had been through a lot before finding her way to the Rabbit Center. Despite all her hardships, she was the sweetest, most affectionate bunny we’d seen. She truly is a special girl and we know she will make her humans a wonderful companion!

Trial Bonding Update: Gypsy may have found a boyfriend but it’s too early to call it a marriage. So for now, we are considering it an engagement and waiting to see how things work out. A trial bonding is when two bunnies are introduced and given time to see if there is a love match. Since the decision is up to the bunnies and not us humans, it takes a little while to figure out if the connection is made. We will update you on Gypsy’s status as soon as the rabbits make their decision!

Original Post: You might remember the story of little Gypsy, the young rabbit who came to our Center after being hit by a car. When she arrived, she had a badly broken leg. What was amazing was the fact that she was always in good spirits! Always happy to see people, always chipper. If you didn’t know she was injured and hurting, you would have never have guessed it. Everyone at the center fell in love with Gypsy and we couldn’t wait to get the chance to pick her up and hug her or let her run around a play. She needed time to mend though, so for a while, playing and hugging were off limits. To read more about Gypsy and her arrival at our shelter, please read the article, Gypsy The Hit and Run Bun.

After lots of care and medical attention, Gypsy healed and she grew into the beautiful bunny you see today. She is a lovely bunny and is up for adoption at the Rabbit Center.
