Shadow Is In A Trial Bonding!

Shadow has just entered a trial bonding and for the time being, is unavailable for adoption. A trial bonding means that a bunny has been paired with another bunny to see if they like each other and can live together as a bonded couple. Because we leave this up to the bunnies to decide, all we can do is wait and see if the bunnies hit it off with each other. Sometimes, the match doesn’t work and the bunny isn’t officially adopted. This is why we keep bunnies who are in a trial bonding in the adoptable section of the website.

If you are interested in Shadow, please stop back for updates. We should know soon whether or not he has found a girlfriend and a forever home or if he will be back up for adoption at the center.

Original Post: Pictured below are Shadow and Sheree, a bonded pair of rabbits we had up for adoption. Sadly, Sheree passed away quite suddenly after suffering a seizure. Shadow is now left without his partner and sadly, still without a forever home.

Originally, the couple were classroom bunnies who came to us when one of the students parents complained about her child’s allergies. Shadow is a beautiful rabbit who loves to run around and explore new areas. We imagine he is quite lonely now without his loving companion and adoption would be most helpful in his healing process. Shadow could very much benefit from attention and affection! Please consider mending his broken heart and giving him a forever home!
